Christmas Time
Wow - Christmas is finally over! I've been looking forward for Christmas for awhile and then it came and it was pretty overwhelming. We had 5 Christmas celebrations in a 48 hour time frame which was CRAZY, tiring and extremely overwhelming - not just for me, but for the kids as well. And I'm sure it'll be all repeated again next year!

Christmas morning we had time to open presents, grab some muffins to eat and then leave the house with all presents still in their boxes and wrapping paper all over the floor.

Then we left there at 5:00pm to make it to my parents for 5:30 where we had another good dinner waiting for us. Then we did presents, socialized and had dessert then bed time at 9:00ish.

Next day, got up and got ready and left to go out to Hamilton to visit with my papa (my dad's step-dad), he had a booked the party room in his apt. and had a bunch of snacks out for the kids and we visited.

From my papa's we went to my cousins Krystals house with my mom's extended family. We were there until 9pm I think. No nap again for the kids (except in the car which isn't much).

Then just this back Friday we drove out to Windsor so Chance can meet his other Grandpa (my moms dad). That was a long day, long drive. But it was so much fun - I don't think I've seen my Grandpa since the wedding so it was a nice visit. Also got to hang out with my mom's half sister (who is 5 years older then me). We got back to my parents place just after 1am. Chance and Skylar had such an awful car ride home, Skylar wouldn't sleep for the first hour, and Chance just kept crying - couldn't get comfortable I guess.

So all in all we had a great Christmas, even if it was jammed pack! I'm just glad to be home and have our normal schedule back to normal! Now we have to work on cleaning the house, finding place for all the toys, and getting a zillion batteries we need for all the new toys! If I get a chance I'll post what our presents actually were. That'll have to wait for another post! lol
