Hay Ride
One of the nice things about living in a small town is the little things like going for a hay ride through town singing Christmas carols, then heading back to an old community hall and have snacks, hot chocolate and hot apple cidar. We did this last year when we first moved out here, but last year we had a tractor. This year we actually had horses! The kids really had a great time, esp. Chance. Who when we drove past our house started yelling "hey guys, that's my house, look guys, look at Chance's tree in the window". It was really quite cute. Only down side is that our "town" is so small that the ride was only maybe 10 minutes and it was over (and that's including going down main street twice. lol. I love living in the country!
