Christmas Eve
What a busy day today was. Chance was so excited about Santa comming today and singing "Santa Clause is comming to Chance's house" all day long. We watched Christmas shows on TV, we baked brownies, made squares, made muffins. The kids got to open one present on Christmas Eve, and as in my family tradition it was always a pair of PJ's that they wore to bed and looked good in the pictures in the morning! Skylar got a nice purple pair and Chance got curious george. He was so excited. Then he neatly laid the stockings out on the couch for Santa and got a plate to put the cookies on. He took one out of that jar and said "this one for Santa, then he took another one and said "this one for Rudolf" and he got some milk and left on the table. Went to bed (where he peaked in and saw one of his toys in my bedroom). We read Twas the night before Christmas and tucked him in.
An hour later he comes down crying and wants my cuddle bug and is very upset. I finally get out of him that he scared of Santa and dosen't want Santa to come to his house! I finally got him settled down and went back to bed, but he told me again he dosen't want Santa in his house. It was kind of cute b/c he's been talking non stop about Santa and comming to his house. so I'm not sure where this sudden change of heart came from. Anyways, Santa IS comming, it's 10:00 and I still have to wrap and fill stockings! So MAYBE I'll get some sleep before Santa comes!
