Chance's first day of school
CHANCE PUTTING ON HIS BACK PACK
SHOWING JUSTIN HIS BACK PACK. JUSTIN IS HIS BUS BUDDY/FRIEND

THERE HE GOES GETTING ON THE BUS

THERE GOES MY BABY ON THE BUS!!!
Well the day has come and gone now. Andrew and I started to get some butterflies about 20 minutes before his bus came. Andrew started talking about homeschool him again. All morning Chance kept asking what time it is, and is it time to go to school yet. he kept looking out the window and talking about missing the bus. Finally we told him it was time and he went running to the front door to put his shoes and back pack on. Then went running outside where he met his friend Justin in our drive way where he showed him his new back pack and telling him that he's going to sit with him on the bus. Then we crossed the street and waited for the bus which Chance had no interest in his mommy and daddy anxiously watching him. He started getting all excited when the bus came that he didn't even want to give mommy and daddy a hug goodbye!
It was so weird watching him loading that BIG bus and watching it drive away knowing you have now lost all control of your son! (well while he's at school that is). Then we had to pick him up at 11:30 but we got there early so that we would be able to watch him play at recess. However, I didn't like what I saw. :( There was Chance off playing by himself! He kept trying to play with the other kids but they didn't want anything to do with Chance. He kept trying to play with the older kids playing soccer (maybe grade 3/4 kids). but they wouldn't wnat to play with a 3 year old! Then we saw him sitting under the slide all by himself playing in the sand. He did see us and waved at us but then kept on playing. So I guess that was a good sign that he didn't come running over to us in the van.
Then when he got home we asked him if he liked school and he said NO! How can a 3 year old NOT like kindergarden? I asked him why and he says that he missed his mommy. I asked him if he wanted to go back to school and he said no that he wants to stay home with mommy. Then while eating dinner tonight I was talking about school again and he told me that the other kids wouldn't play tag with him! Awwwh. Noone would play tag with him. But I must admit he dosen't know how to play with kids his own age. All of his "friends" are atleast 5 years older, some are like 11 years older. So it's not a big idea when he pretends to be a ghost and "woooo" in thier face as they will do it back to him. However, you do that to another 3-4 year old they will think he is strange. We have seen that reaction a few times when he goes to play ground and he tries to play with smaller kids and they just look at him weird. It just breaks my heart!
