Love Thursday

Love is protecting your baby sister from the big scary vacuum.

Kids naturally have a fear of the vacuum. Chance has been since the day we got him, however Skylar never seemed to mind it much. It's only been in the last few months I guess she hasn't liked it. With Chance since he was a baby we would put him on the couch and wrap him up with a blanket and he'll sit there and watch. On Tuesday he saw me get the vacuum and automatically went to the couch with the blanket. Skylar just stood there watching so I didn't think anything of it until I turned it on and she started to scream and cry. Chance, not thinking twice, jumped from the couch OVER the vacuum (he actually touched it to get around me), ran to get Skylar and took her hand. He then lead her to the couch and helped her get up where he proceeds to give her a big hug and wrap the blanket around here while saying "shhh, it's ok Skylar. Skylar safe. Chance protect you" By the time I grabbed the camera Skylar had taken the blanket off.
